Prayer

James 5:16 (NLT),  "... The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."

Lord, forgive me for my skewed judgments and views about your character and nature. Forgive me for not trusting you and living in unbelief, which has caused me to settle for less. I give you the shame I've carried and my hiding tactics. Instead, I receive your mercy and choose to draw close to you.

Lord, forgive me for believing anything contrary to your truth and for spreading those distortions. I bring those ways of acting, thinking, and believing to the Cross. I ask you to reveal remaining hidden lies and ungodly core beliefs. Remove all blockages and replace the ungodly beliefs with your truth.

I ask for the ability, insight, and capacity to receive your love, blessings, and mercies each day. Amen.
