Revelation of Thanks

There is no breeding ground for pride when we are thankful for God’s strength in the midst of our weakness.

There is no division when we are thankful for the privilege of serving others.

There are no territorial walls while giving thanks for being a branch of God’s family tree.

There is no lack of faith in thankful testimonies.

There is no fear while giving thanks for God’s protection.

There is no foothold for anger in grateful words.

There is no room for regret while thanking God for his promises for your future.

There is no harboring unforgiveness towards others or ourselves while thanking God for his forgiveness.

There is no use for our agenda when we are thankful for God’s lit path.

There is no striving when we are thankful for the invitation to sit at God’s feet.

There is no longer a desire to feed hate when we are thankful for God’s love.

There is no worry about daily concerns when we are thankful for God’s empowerment to overcome.

There is no record of wrongs in our hearts while thanking God for his new mercies each day.

Perhaps thankfulness is how we unlock the door to the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
