Meeting Father Part 3

So what happened after that day of contemplation about God’s grace? I pressed through the mountains of broken trust, the fear of my heart being stomped on again, and cautiously tiptoed towards God’s outstretched arms. The Father of all fathers mentored me with his truthful and compassionate responses. Words cannot adequately convey the gentleness and patience with which he approached. Thankfulness overwhelms me as I reflect upon the massive mercy, grace, and affection he has freely given. I deserved his full wrath for my historical blunders. However, he loved me into something greater.

At first, I didn’t know I needed to change and was blind to how toxic my life had become. Nor did I understand how inward godly changes would drastically improve every other relationship in my life. My thoughts, actions, interactions and daily life are infinitely better now. Peace and joy are no longer elusive or found in hollow comforts.

I discovered, when building a connectedness with God, there is a tipping point where we finally feel accepted and adopted into his Kingdom family. It gets solidified in our hearts that Abba Father’s love is greater than our poor choices and sinful behavior. Our level of submission and trust in him opens the door for his holiness to clean us from the inside out.

Godly transformation starts by receiving his grace and love. He did it for me and will do it for you. God uniquely created you. Don’t compare your experiences with God to mine or those of others. The key is to embrace a personal custom-fit relationship with him. Out of that, you will bloom and blossom into his radiant child. No matter how distant we feel from Father God, his loving hands stretch that far.
