Prayer

James 5:16 (NLT),  "... The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.​"

Wow, Lord! What a journey together! Your revelatory encounters, love, and kindness are far beyond what I expected. Everything else I tried to find happiness and joy in now seems so ridiculous and unsatisfying, when compared to five minutes in your presence.

 

Thank you for revealing how my belief systems and ways of coping have hindered me from receiving and giving godly love. Most importantly, thank you for the frequent personal interactions. Your truth, grace, mercy, acceptance, and love have been a healing balm to what I thought was hopelessly broken.

​

I know there is more to do within me. Yet, I have hope and faith. I know you will be close and personal as we move forward together. Help me stay focused on you, in step with your timing. I needed a father more than I knew. Your adoption of me is priceless and cherished. I receive every blessing and benefit of being your child. Amen.
